The All India Glass Manufacturers´ Federation was founded in 1944. The Federation is made up of five Regional Associations viz. Western India Glass Manufacturers´ Association Mumbai, Eastern India Glass Manufacturers´ Association Kolkata, U.P. Glass Manufacturers´ Syndicate Firozabad, Northern India Glass Manufacturers´ Association New Delhi and South India Glass Manufacturers´ Association Chennai. The main aim of the Federation is to organize a united front on behalf of all glass manufacturers and thus strive to gain all those advantages which may not be possible through individual effort. The Federation encourages, promotes and develops the manufacture of glass articles of all kinds and safeguards and protects the interests of the glass industry and glassware business in India. It forms a common link amongst the Glass Manufacturers´ in India.
The federation takes up the problems relating to glass industry with the concerned govt. Department and other authorities with a view find solutions most suited to serve the interest of glass industry. International Exhibitions/Seminars are organized to promote technological advancement of the industry. Press conferences are also organized to draw Govt./Public attention to the difficulties faced by the industry and to seek their help in finding solutions. AIGMF also participates in exhibitions/trade fairs with a view to promote use of glass and glass products.

Indian Glass Manufacturers’ Association (IGlass)

The IGlass represents the Indian Flat Glass Industry as a whole, and is registered as a Company under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956.

The IGlass broadly aims to create awareness on the advantages and benefits in the various applications and usages of Flat Glass. It actively encourages and assists in the development of suitable Building Codes, etc. for the various usages and applications of glass to achieve resultant energy conservation, safety norms, etc. IGlass also encourages sponsors and participates in programmes, exhibitions, conferences etc. for the promotion and development of the Flat Glass Industry. It draws the attention of the government and the public to the problems, hindrances and difficulties in the development of the Flat Glass Industry, and to strive for relevant support for the Industry.



Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex body of the organized real estate developers/builders across India, representing pan-India associations of real estate and housing developers. Twenty state/city associations spread over across 17 states of India, viz. Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Goa, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh are members of CREDAI with over 4000 individual member developers encompassing over 60% of the organized private sector real estate development activity in member states/cities in the country.



Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), established in 1978, is the Indian Section of International Solar Energy Society (ISES). The objectives of SESI are to advance, promote and propogate the use of all forms of renewable energy such as Solar, Wind, Biomass, Biofuels, Small Hydro, Waste to Energy, etc. The society is interdisciplinary in nature, with some of the leading researchers and manufacturers of renewable energy systems and devices of the country as its members. One of the objectives of SESI is to organize conferences/seminars. Presently SESI has more than 2000 members.


The Glass Association of North America (GANA) is a leading association serving flat glass manufacturers, fabricators and glazing contractors.

Our Mission:

  • Promote the use of value-added glass and glazing products
  • Provide a forum for exchanging information and ideas through its Divisions and membership
  • Provide a unified voice on matters affecting the glass and glazing industry
